Melissa is a born and raised Floridian with a love for her family and real estate. She was raised in Lakeland and graduated from Lakeland Senior High School. She lived in Tampa while she attended the University of South Florida and married her college sweetheart two months after graduation. After earning her bachelors degree in Microbiology she worked in the cancer research department for Moffitt Cancer Center and loved being immersed in the science community while helping those in need. She later moved back to Lakeland to be near family while she started her own family and enjoys every minute of being a stay at home mom. She has been a homeschool mom to her four amazing children which has been the best fit for their family dynamic, especially for her oldest autistic son. She’s a big advocate for Autism Awareness, STEM programs, and serving in her church with the young primary kids and teen youth program.

Since half her kids are in college, she chose to dive into the real estate field which has been a long time love of hers. Real estate captivated her at a young age since her parents enjoyed going to open houses and she loved tagging along with them while comparing different and unique floor plans and elevations. She’s been submerged in the real estate and construction environment for decades since both her husband and father are structural engineers and inspectors which made for interesting dinner conversations. During her spare time, Melissa enjoys family beach days, trips to Disney and Universal Studios, and road trips to the Smoky Mountains while enjoying white water rafting, hiking, waterfalls, and visiting historic landmarks.
