My name is Teresa Roberts; born in Illinois but raised in Florida from the early age of one! I’ve been a resident of Lakeland ever since. My parents moved to Lakeland to raise their two children and escape the cold. Growing up, they instilled so many wonderful qualities in me passion, determination, and drive to come in on top. I never saw my parents give less than 100%, and I have carried that with me throughout my life and my career.

After high school, I moved to Jacksonville to attend UNF, earning my Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education. I then returned to my hometown to teach, which I have done for the last 28 years. I have taught middle school and high school, focusing on dropout prevention. Teaching is a career that you never work a day in your life because you love what you do. I have loved every minute of my last 28 years working with some of the most amazing young adults from every corner of the county.

After college, I got married and had 2 amazing old souls, my children. My daughter is 23 years old and has been a teacher for 2 years at a local elementary school. My son is 21 and is in his senior year of college. His plans are to become an AD at the college level. Both my children attended USF. My interests are spending time with family, taking care of my daughter’s Goldendoodle, going to the beach, and getting creative with home decor and design. I look forward to more travel in the future as I will be an empty nester soon.

My interest in real estate matches my passion for teaching and life. My #1 goal was to raise my children and also give my students every tool they needed to reach their goals. My passion now is to help others with their real estate needs with drive and determination. I have bought and sold numerous homes over the last ten years and want to be the agent that gives her client the best experience while offering expertise, care, and ease throughout the process. I’ve always believed in the concept of going above and beyond to meet the needs of everyone I work with. My passion to help others is a driving force behind my work ethic.
